Already from his early youth Thomas was attracted by horse-riding and equestrian sports.
As a teenager he fully dedicated his leisure time to riding and jumping, and unbuilt doing so, systematically explore and develop his talents in these disciplines. The result was that he became “Belgian Champion young riders” in 2003, and he occupied a 9th and 10th position in the European Championships in the years thereafter. His voluntaristic mindset as well as the combination of performant horses and excellent coaching, primarily by Emile Hendrix and Jos Kumps, have led to this success story as still an amateur-rider. Moreover, this experience in his young life inspired him to step over from his hobby to professional equestrian sports. As he had learnt before from his worldwide respected coaches, he started by focusing on the selection of promising young horses, on developing them systematically, and as well on training good combinations of riders and horses.
